mycandyeyes.com -- "BEWARE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE"

This website has gotten a lot of attention because of their cheap and affordable circle lenses, but most of all, because of the free shipping (US only), which most would think sounds very good, but I wished I never fell for it. Sure, free shipping sounds good, but one thing to consider is insurance. They offer no insurance so if anything happens to your item, well, then that sucks for you. I ordered from this website on August 25, 2010. On September 7, 2010, I e-mailed mycandyeyes@gmail.com to ask for a tracking no so I can track where my package is at since Im very excited to see it. To my surprise, it says on the USPS website that the package has been delievered on September 4, 2010. I did not and have not recieved anything, NOTHING. I am not blaming mycandyeyes.com for my mail potentially getting lost since its most likely the post office's fault. I contacted mycandyeyes@gmail.com regarding the issue, and quickly they responded, confirming the right address and such. I asked if theres a way I can be compensated for the issue. They said that once I file a report at the post office, they we "further assist me" --fair enough since it says on the USPS website that my package has been delivered. So I contacted USPS many times, and by many, i mean MANYYYYYYY tiimes. And finally, they started investigating my case and have sent me a conformation e-mail, which i forwarded to mycandyeyes customer service. But guess what? THEY NEVER REPLIED BACK. What happened to "we'll further assist you"? huh? they have been completely ignoring me and my messages. Seems like Ive been lied to. All that effort on contacting the post office and getting my case documented and processed just to send this horrible website the report, now they are ignoring me...

Well bottom line, it was my first purchase at this website and will be my last. I have also told a lot of my friends who were thinking of buying on this website to NOT buy here and after hearing my story, they changed their minds...if you want a good customer service, people who would help you if anything happens to your package, and would not LIE to you, then this website is not it. Its plain horrible and the worst Ive ever purchased from.
